Procedure:
one.- With the three millimeter needles, we are going to cast on three stitches. We pull a little of the thread and make the slipknot.
two.- To make the first increase, we are going to knit the first stitch without removing it from the needle; we are going to knit too but taking the yarn from behind. We have the first increase, we knit the central stitch and the last stitch.
3.- We are going to make another increase as we did before, knit and knit the back loop.
4.- Now we are on the wrong side of the piece and we will make the border from the bib. We are going to do the garter stitch. So now we are going to knit all the stitches in this second row which is a wrong side row, we turn again and on row number 3 we are now going to increase again.
5.- Now we are going to knit a stitch and make a yarn over. We pass the yarn up, we knit the central stitch, we make a loop again and we knit the last two stitches.
7.- We have made two increases and there are seven stitches on the needle. On the row on the wrong side, we are going to knit three stitches to make the garter stitch edge and we are going to knit the third stitch taking the back yarn to avoid the hole since it is the loop.
8.- We are going to purl the central stitch, since we are going to do the central part of the barber in stockinette stitch. We knit the loop but taking the back of the stitch and we leave the last two stitches knit.
9.- Now we are always going to make these three stitches in garter stitch so we are going to knit, we are in a knit row, knit three stitches. Right after the garter stitch edge. we are going to make a yarn over always on the right rows.
10.- We knit the central stitch, we make an increase again, a yarn over just before the edge in garter stitch and we finish the edge in point, that is, knit stitches.
eleven.- We turn on the wrong side row, we are going to do the same as we did the 3 stitches, in garter stitch in knit stitch we are going to purl the central stitches. In this case we are going to weave them normally, since we are interested in the decorative hole remaining.
12.- We purl the three central stitches and we knit the last three stitches to continue with the garter stitch edge. We turn and are back in a row on the right side. Once again we knit three stitches, a yarn over, an increase and knit until just before the edge of the other side.
13.- When we only have three points left, we do the same. On the wrong side row we are going to knit three stitches, purl all the stitches in the middle and knit the last three stitches to make the border.
14.- Once you have 17 centimeters from the tip to the top, you are going to knit 5 rows; starting with a row on the right side of the piece. Once the 5 rows have been knitted, we are going to close the fabric.
fifteen.- We knit a stitch, leave the next one and pass the first one over the one we just knitted and thus we close all the stitches.
16.- Now we have to finish off the threads with a needle and make the buttonhole, to later glue the button.
