You don’t need to visit the beauty salon to dye your eyebrows, you can do it yourself like a pro with these tips. Best of all, the ingredients used to prepare the homemade tincture are not harmful to health.
If your eyebrows look worn by the passage of time, or are sparse, you can try this homemade eyebrow tint.
The shape and color of your eyebrows have the power to completely change your appearance. This is because your eyes are framed by your eyebrows. Eyebrow tint can make your brows look fuller.
How to dye eyebrows at home
To prepare the dye you will need the following ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of ground coffee.
- 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder.
- 2 tablespoons of coconut oil.
- 1 tablespoon of honey.
- 1 coil brush
- A clock.
- 2 swabs.
- 2 cotton pads or paper towels.
Homemade makeup process.
Step 1: Mix all the ingredients to make a smooth and thick paste. Let the mixture sit for a few minutes.
Step 2: Clean brows, blow dry and comb through with the spoolie brush.
Note: Although the natural ingredients do not stain the skin, you can apply Vaseline to the skin around the eyebrows as a precaution.
Step 3: Apply the paste with a flat brush or cotton swab on the eyebrow. Start from the inside corner and work your way out.
Step 4: Let the mixture act for half an hour. If you want a darker tint, leave it in longer for convenience.
Step 5: After the stipulated time, wipe off the color with a damp cotton pad.
Once your eyebrows dry, the result will be visible.
NOTE: This method is an excellent option if you have recently waxed or tweezed your brows, as there is little chance of the open follicles becoming inflamed or irritated. This mixture of coffee, coconut oil and honey will help soothe skin that has suffered from waxing.
