1. Use cotton
Unless there is a large amount of hair caught in the drain, you can try a quick wash on your own. All you need to get started is a few pieces of cotton.

Step 1 – Take a cotton ball
The first step is to get a cotton ball. You can use the normal type that you already have in your bathroom. Take a stick or a screwdriver and stick the cotton on it.
Step 2 – Remove the Drain Protector
Does your bathtub, sink or shower have a protector over the drain? Many people use them to keep hair and other things from clogging the drain. If this sounds familiar to you, the first thing you should do is remove it. Drag it and put it aside.
Step 3 – Put the Cotton in the Drain
The next step is to stick the cotton ball down the drain and move it around. Use circular movements. When you take it out, you will notice that there are a lot of hairs on the end of the stick. You need to do this several times until you get rid of the clogged hair, depending on how much there is.
2. Hanger

You will need to bend it to make a long metal hook out of it. You should not use too much force here.
Next, you need to remove the drain protector. With this trick you will need to have as much access to the drain as possible.
Stick the metal hook deep into the gutter and move it. When you start to feel some friction, you are most likely caught in some hairs. Go slowly removing it from the drain and set them aside. Keep doing this until you finish removing all the hair.
